We searched long and hard for the "perfect diet" for our canine companions and spent a lot of money and time trying different supplements and diets, from raw to homemade to processed. During this process, we read books on canine nutrition, visited various web sites, researched various foods, called several pet food manufacturers, and eventually came up with the same conclusion Wysong Corporation did: "Food Choices are not a matter of right or wrong, black or white - they are shades of grey. By understanding what is the ideal and what is not, however, intelligent decisions can be made which at least take us ever closer to the healthiest ideal."
We offer four brands of pet food (Eagle Pack® Holistic Select™, Wysong, Nature's Variety, and FarMore), which we believe to be the best brands on the market. All of these pet foods contains superior human grade, quality ingredients. Wysong and Nature's Variety are designed for rotation between their various freeze-dried, canned, dry, and raw diets, along with supplements. Farmore Brand is a frozen pre-mixed raw diet. Eagle Pack®'s Holistic Select is a brand of dry kibble with organic chicken, organic amaranth, digestive enzymes, prebiotics, probiotics, greens, vitamins, and minerals, as well as glucosamine. The Dog Pack dogs eat all four brands, cycling within each brand and between brands.
We have seen and read many discussions on both sides of the raw food issue. We believe a pet guardian should make their own informed choice on what to feed their pet and feel comfortable with that decision. If you are against raw feeding, then alternating between the Nature's Variety and Wysong premium natural kibble, freeze-dried, or canned foods combined with supplements containing digestive enzymes, probiotics, and vitamins (to add the nutrition back in) may be a good alternative for you.
If you decide to feed your dog a processed diet (e.g. kibble, canned, etc), in order to obtain the most nutrition from that diet, we suggest you add top dress the food with C-Biotic and twice weekly add Pet Innoculant to their food.
