- Coverage helps pay for: diagnostic tests, prescriptions, treatments, hospitalization, office visits, X-rays, lab fees, surgeries
- You can use any licensed veterinarian worldwide, including specialists
- Premiums start at less than $10 per month and are based upon the species, age of your dog or cat, and the plan you select
- Vaccination and routine care coverage can be added to your plan for an additional $8.25 per month.
- Two plans for Canines/Felines:
- VPI Superior: Annual benefit maximum of $14,000, low deductible of $50 per incident
- VPI Standard: Annual benefit maximum of $9,000, low deductible of $50 per incident
- Avian/Exotic Pet Plan

- Major medical coverage is also available for avians, rabbits, ferrets, reptiles, and other exotic pets including potbellied pigs with premiums starting at just $7.00 per month
- This plan covers medical treatments and surgeries for accidents and illnesses from minor problems such as delayed molt in birds to respiratory ailments, pneumonia, gout, and even cancer.
